Your machine designs for our PAW production ensure you will make our world a bit better again. This is how we realise an alternative for chemical fertiliser, producing food in a green manner.

Your impact on a sustainable world

You are the missing link who completes our team using your experience in designing high-tech machines in mechatronics. You can make the connection between the electrotechnical and mechanical parts.

You take on the Proof of Concept and complete the engineering for this in detail. Thus, you will create an engineering package (BOM, 2D/3D drawings, PCB designs) to enable the production of our PAW machines. As such, you play a crucial role in our PAW-machines' product development and production. A dynamic process because you will be collaborating with development, engineering, production, and suppliers.

Very specifically, you will design, draw, and calculate Plasma machines, modules, and parts in accordance with the set specifications and functional design. Logically, you will perform all the required calculations, checks and analyses in functionality, manufacturability, mountability, quality assurance and reliability of the design. This is what your process basically looks like:

  • You draw up mechanical and electrotechnical machine and component requirements and create 2D/3D drawings via the AUTOCAD Inventor system. You make strength calculations, select materials & components and fine-tune with suppliers.
  • You compose PCB designs using Altium. You see to design reviews, together with other disciplines.
  • You determine which materials and measurements will be used while continuously working on improvement suggestions and standardisation of products and work methods.
  • You frequently coordinate with suppliers and production partners.

Your team

You will work in a small team with a Lead Engineer, a Mechanical Engineer and an Electrotechnician. You will form a 'triangle' with the latter two. Together you will form the basis for engineering our machines (applications) and marketing our technology. The basis of our organisation is the fundamental R&D, that leads to plasma technology development. From there, application development is created, after which we head towards the prototype (deliver Proofs of Concept). Then we get to the engineering, to design the application in detail and then we proceed to our partners to have the applications integrated, so they will finally end up with our customers for installation. Thus, you will appreciate that you are part of an essential step in our primary process.

At VitalFluid, we work together with some 30 colleagues in an open and approachable environment. A place where you are free to fully utilise your creative and innovative potential. We are doers, people who can work hard to reach strict deadlines. Your entrepreneurial spirit fits perfectly with this team of pioneers. Our nationalities are diverse, which is great for innovation. This is because everything will be viewed from everyone's unique perspective to achieve the greatest experiments.

The VitalFluid benefits

A real opportunity to improve the world as well as yourself. You will be working on the greatest innovations, and we provide the opportunity to continuously develop yourself. You will receive:

  • A gross salary starting from € 3,500 to € 5,000 per month.
  • 35 holidays and 8% holiday allowance.
  • A laptop.
  • Commuting allowance should you take the car or bike to the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, or a public transport travel pass.

Your passion for technology

As a real team player, you will get the best out of the collaboration with your colleagues. With a sizeable dose of entrepreneurship and focus on development, you are keen to work on technology that adds to a more sustainable world. You thrive in this place, where procedures are still being developed; even more, you love to contribute to that. In addition:

  • You have a bachelor or master in Mechatronics and have been developing high-tech machines for several years.
  • You are very strong in terms of concept and analytics and are happy to tuck into complex mechatronic systems, which you are also experienced with, to some degree.
  • You are familiar with certification standards like CE and have experience with CAD packages like Inventor and Altium.
  • You get energy from reaching deadlines and stay cool despite any pressure.
  • You have splendid communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

You live in the Netherlands or Belgium.

VitalFluid, the global knowledge centre for plasma technology

To us, 'creavation' stands for the perfect fusion of creativity and innovation. From our individual expertise, we develop Plasma Activated Water (PAW) applications together. Our team of 30 work on a better world. We have the ambition to further improve our PAW technology, so over the next period, we will be growing as an organisation.

We are working on a relatively new phenomenon, where PAW is being produced using just water, air, and electricity. In doing this, we primarily focus on the agricultural sector, where PAW can be used as a sustainable alternative for conventional synthetic and organic fertilisers. Our clean PAW technology therefore helps us to make the world more sustainable and improve it. We are open to committed (technical) specialists who wish to make the world greener, together with us.

Take the next step in growing to a better world

This is your opportunity to really make an impact on the world. Are you interested? Then apply now, by sending your cv and motivation to hr@vitalfluid.com. You will receive a response within a few working days.
